Everett Police had to shut down 4th Ave West between Everett Mall Way and 104th Sunday afternoon after multiple gunshots were fired from a car.

Patrol officers at the scene were too busy looking for evidence to talk with MyEverettNews.com but we did notice one officer with a sack containing several shell casings.

It also appeared one vehicle was hit. We do know there were not any injuries.

The road was shut down and traffic diverted for about an hour.

If you happened to be in the area of Car Toys Sunday afternoon around 5:30 PM and saw anything, Everett Police could use your help on their tip line at 425-257-8450.

We’ll update if we get any description information or other details to pass along.

Here are a few MyEverettNews.com photos from the scene.
