Giant Coffee Cup Saves Building From Crash
You can never have too big a coffee cup
Speed was likely a factor
The driver suffered serious injuries.
A giant coffee cup helped stop a car from crashing into the
Heart of Rock and Roll Espresso building just south of Everett at Murphy’s Corner Friday night.
Right around 8:30 PM Everett Fire crews were called for mutual aid with District 7 for a car that went out of control southbound on Highway 527 and into a building.
On arrival firefighters found a lone driver behind the wheel with serious injuries.
Mill Creek Police are investigating the crash where speed was likely a factor.
No word yet if drugs or alcohol were involved.
It appears the giant coffee cup in front saved the building from being hit.
There was also damage to signage and the curb at 16th SE. Here are a couple of MyEverettNews.com photos. Click to enlarge.
