Police want to find Jose “Danger” Aguilar

Do you know Jose “Danger” Aguilar? Everett Police are asking the public’s help in locating the reported heroin dealer they say shot a woman in the back, leaving her paralyzed. It happened January 11th when a woman was dropped off at Providence Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the back.

In papers filed with the arrest of a different suspect in the case, Everett Police say a man brought the victim to a park near the Everett Animal Shelter where Aguilar began threatening her with a gun. She ran and he allegedly shot her once in the back. He put her in the back of his car and drove to Providence Regional Medical Center. Once there he loaded the victim into a wheelchair and wheeled her to the Emergency Room door. An unidentified woman then brought her inside the Emergency Room, spoke with a nurse and left.

The woman who’d been shot in the back was in critical condition for days and police had to wait to piece the story together once she was well enough to be interviewed. Police also confirmed parts of the story by reviewing video footage from the hospital. They also have been using witness information and interviews of at least one person already arrested for his involvement in the case.

“Danger’s” real name is Jose Edward Espinoza Aguilar. He is 23-years-old and Everett Police say he is an armed career criminal well known to local law enforcement. He may be associated with a Chevy Cobalt.

Anyone with information about this incident or knows the suspect is asked to call the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
