“I am honored and humbled by the overwhelming support and encouragement I am receiving for my run for Mayor of Everett.” Brian Sullivan said. “Over the past 10 years, Everett’s crime, homelessness, opioid and heroin issues have spiraled out of control. Our public safety has been underfunded and budgets have been cut during a time when we have needed them most. As a result, our citizens are feeling this serious burden in their neighborhoods and our retail businesses are struggling to stay open. Everett is an amazing city with so much to offer. My proven leadership has given me the tools and confidence to lead our wonderful city in a new direction. The time for change has arrived and I’m ready to roll up my sleeves, work hard and make a positive change for Everett.”

Tonight both Sullivan and Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson went before the 38th Legislative District Democrats at their membership meeting in Everett. After hearing from both candidates they voted their sole endorsement for Sullivan.

Both Sullivan and Stephanson have been seeking and receiving endorsements throughout the county.
