Pedestrian Killed Along Seaway Boulevard

Editor’s Update Friday January 27th 1:45 PM: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the identification and examination of a 31-year old male who was involved in a car versus pedestrian collision in the 6900 block of Seaway Blvd in Everett, WA on January 25, 2017. The decedent is Cullen M. Thompson of Lake Stevens, WA. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries of head and neck. The manner of death is Accident. The Everett Police Department continues to investigate.

Everett Police traffic detectives are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in the 6900 block of Seaway Boulevard this morning.

The crash happened around 7:00 AM in the northbound lanes. A PT Cruiser appears to have left the road and struck a person. The driver immediately stopped and was cooperating with police.

Seaway Boulevard was closed in the northbound direction and Everett Police set up a detour via 75th to Hardeson to Merrill Creek Parkway back to Seaway. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death and release the identity of the pedestrian.
