The streak continues today for broken water lines in Everett, Washington. 6 days and counting. Here’s the latest break per the Everett Public Works Department…15 homes on 17th Avenue West south of Hollowdale are out of service this morning as Public Works crews repair a failed gasket on an 8-inch valve connection.
Service is expected to be restored by late morning. No property damage was reported.
Homes that were without service should run their water for up to 30 minutes to clear any turbidity from the lines once service resumes. Though water may appear discolored, it is safe to use and drink.
