shooting on 128th

The Sheriff’s Office is looking into a shooting on 128th SW Tuesday night.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is looking for those involved in a shooting on 128th street late Tuesday night. Not a lot of details yet but here is what is known so far from Shari Ireton at the Sheriff’s Office…

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting last night that left one man in critical condition at the 200 block of 128th St SW.

According to witnesses, a 28 year-old man had gone to a parking lot at that location to confront another male, who was with several other people, about a debt. While the two men discussed the debt, witnesses report that an unidentified male with the group became angry and shot at the victim’s vehicle and the victim around midnight.

The suspect fled the area with three other men. The male victim was transported to Harborview Regional Medical Center.

An extensive search of the area was conducted by K-9, patrol and helicopter, but the suspects continue to remain at large. Major crimes unit detectives continue to investigate. This was one of two assault incidents that the Sheriff’s Office responded to overnight.
