A Porsche was destroyed by fire Friday night but Everett Firefighters kept the car fire from spreading inside the house.
It happened just before 10:30 PM in the 300 block of 42nd SW in Everett.
As they arrived, fire crews with Engine 4 found a Porsche in front of the house fully involved with fire spreading to the exterior of the garage.
Crews were able to stop the fire from extending inside the garage and further into the house.
The homeowner told MyEverettNews.com he’d been working on the Porsche and had left it running while he ran to the store. When he returned it was on fire.
An Everett Fire investigator was called out to the scene.
There were no injuries and no damage estimate was available.
