No Injuries In North Everett Garage Fire

Firefighters kept the fire from spreading to the nearby house.


An Everett Firefighter hits a hot spot.

An Everett Fire Investigator is trying to determine what caused the fire in a detached garage in the 1200 block of Oakes Avenue in north Everett Christmas night.

The fire was reported shortly after 8:30 PM.

The first engine arriving saw an orange glow from two blocks out and smoke and flames coming from the garage as they arrived.

Crews were able to get a good knock-down on the fire and kept it from spreading to the house a few feet away.

There were no injuries and no one was displaced.

No damage estimate was available at the time of this report.
