Word in of yet another water main break, this time near Howarth Park. Here’s the release and photo just provided by the City of Everett Public Works Department…
Public Works crews responded to a break in a 6-inch cast iron water main at the intersection of Ridgemont and Olympic drives at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14.The break affects homes near Howarth Park, along Mukilteo Boulevard. Homes in the area may experience low or no pressure and high turbidity in the water until work is complete.
The line, which was built in 1946, is being repaired and crews estimate service should be restored around 2 p.m. today. Once service is restored, residents should run their water until it is clear before use.
