A bicyclist was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center just before eight o’clock Wednesday night with serious injuries.
From the looks of the scene it appeared the bicyclist was going east down the hill on 34th street and failed to stop at the stop sign on Broadway.
A car heading south on Broadway slammed on their brakes but the bike hit the side of the car and the rider went under.
Bystanders used a jack to lift the car and remove the bicyclist from underneath.
Everett Police traffic detectives were called out to investigate the scene.
