Sheriff Seeks Tips After Assault Near Silver Lake

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who was in the area of 110th and 19th SE near Silver Lake Saturday evening to alert them to anything unusual they may have seen after an assault on a woman in her home. Here’s the request released this afternoon…

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking tips and information from the public related to the assault of a 23 year-old woman by an unknown male assailant last Saturday night in the 11000 block of 28th Dr SE.

Specifically, they would like to speak to anyone who may have been walking, driving or on a bicycle in the Silver Lake area of 110th St SE between 19th Ave SE (also known as SR 527) and 35th Ave SE (see attached map) between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29. 

The suspect forced his way into the victim’s home and assaulted her at gunpoint..  The woman was able to break free from the suspect. The white male suspect is described as in his 20’s or 30’s, wearing a mask, a red and black striped shirt, and jeans.  He had a cast on his right arm the night of the crime.

Anyone who may have been in the area or has any information about the suspect or crime is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office anonymous tipline at 425-388-3845.

Details about the woman’s injuries or the nature of the assault are not being released at this time.
