Armed Man Assaults Woman SE of Everett

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office sent out the following bulletin just before 10:00PM Saturday night…

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives and deputies are searching for a man suspected of assaulting a woman at gunpoint earlier tonight in the 11000 block of 28th Dr SE. The woman was able to break free from the suspect and authorities were alerted around 7:15 p.m.

The white male suspect is described as in his 20’s or 30’s, wearing a mask, a red and black striped shirt, and jeans. He also has a cast on his right arm. Anyone with information about the suspect or crime is asked to call 911 immediately. The suspect should not be approached as it is believed he is still armed.

Assistance from Everett, Lynnwood and Mill Creek police departments is being provided in the search for the suspect. The public is asked to avoid the area.

Details about the woman’s injuries or the nature of the assault are not being released at this time.

The area is near James Monroe Elementary School.
