Ballot drop boxes are available until 8:00pm election night.

Ballots returned through the mail must be posted marked no later than November 8. Due to the large number of state and local measures on the ballot, $0.68 postage is needed to return your ballot by mail. As has always been the case, the Auditor’s Office accepts ballots returned with insufficient postage. Ballots returned through a drop box, a mobile drop box van, or an accessible voting site do not need postage. The last day to return a ballot through a drop box, a mobile drop box van or an accessible voting site is Tuesday, November 8 at 8 p.m.

In Everett there is a ballot drop box on the sidewalk in front of the entry to the county campus at the intersection of Wall Street and Rockefeller in downtown Everett. There is also a drive up ballot drop box at McCollum Park on 128th street just south of the Everett city limits. On Election Day there will be a mobile voter drop box van at Everett Mall from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1402 SE Everett Mall Way) Click here for a list of all Snohomish County Drop Boxes.

We’ve heard of people dropping off their ballots in the book return slots at the library branches. That is not a valid drop off spot and your ballot may not make it to the auditor. Only US Mail or official auditor drop boxes.

For those with physical disabilities there is an accessible voting unit inside the Auditor’s Office Lobby in the 1st floor of the county administration building in downtown Everett.
