new firefightersMore new firefighters in Everett received their badges at one time today than in the past 16 years.

At the beginning of their meeting today the Everett City Council met the newest members of the Everett Fire Department.

Eight new firefighters recently completed 13 weeks at the fire training academy and another seven weeks of local training.

Today they were formally introduced and have been assigned to various companies throughout the city.

You’ll be able to recognize them on calls by their distinctive yellow helmets.

The new firefighters are: Daniel Bradley, Sheridan Catlin, Jeremy Van Nuys, Aaron Tran, Douglas Brisbon, Nathan Wirtz, Jason Osborne and Donald Rippl.
