Everett Police are looking for a woman after a man was shot in north Everett this morning. The shooting happened shortly before 7:00 AM in the 2300 block of Colby. That’s just a block north of Everett High School. Police say the shooting was not believed to be related in any way to the school but as the shooting scene was so close to the school the school was placed into lockdown and students were taken to the gym. Arriving busses were re-routed to Everett Memorial Stadium. A K-9 was brought in to search for the suspect. She was described as a white female with blonde hair wearing a red hoodie and black sweat pants. The K-9 track was not successful in locating her but some evidence was recovered. Opening of Immaculate Conception school was delayed until 9:00 AM.

We’ll provide more details as they become available but everything is back to normal at Everett High.

Actually as I was a witness to the shooting I did give out several descriptions to several different media sources and the dispute was over a stolen cell phone from what the man who was shot was saying.

  2. annoyed Says:

It’s not always drug addicted homeless people, this very well could have been a domestic shooting. Wealthy people shoot and kill friends so don’t be so quick to place judgment.

  3. Heather Says:

Did they ever put out a description of the woman? I haven’t come a cross one and several articles mentioned witnesses. A description might have helped apprehend the shooter.

  4. Wa-fix Says:

Another day of wasted dollars going to programs like free housing for the homeless which over time proves does nothing after each city tries it.

i was going to say something stupid, but all the stupid has been used up.
