Security Alert Issued At Everett Community College

Last night MyEverettNews.com was forwarded a security alert by email regarding an incident on the Everett Community College campus in one of their parking lots Monday afternoon…

Campus Community,

Everett Community College Security Officers received a report of a confrontation that occurred today, Monday, September 26, 2016, at approximately 12:18 p.m. in Parking Lot H. Parking lot H is located between the Walt Price Student Fitness Center and the Early Learning Center.

The report states that a man grabbed the door of a woman’s car, which she was about to close, and held it open. It is reported that he grabbed her hand and leaned in and kissed the woman. It is reported that the man then received a phone call at which time the woman was able to shut the car door and get away.

The man is 41 years old, has introduced himself as an Arabian immigrant, has little hair, and may wear glasses.

Campus Security Officers were able to identify the man as an Everett Community College student and he was placed on summary suspension. Our campus security department has engaged Everett Police regarding this incident.
Everett Community College is taking this report very seriously. If you see something suspicious or are approached in a similar fashion, call 911 immediately.
