The Everett Silvertips will host the Vancouver Giants Saturday, September 24 at XFINITY Arena, with a start time of 7:05 to kick off the 2016-17 season schedule for Silvertips games in downtown Everett. The “home and home” series will have one game Friday, September 23 in Langley, hosted by the Giants, and then both teams head to Everett to play the Silvertips home opener for “Fill the House.”

For the fifth season in a row, Housing Hope is partnering with the Silvertips for their home opening game. For every ticket purchased, $6 will be donated to Housing Hope to advance a wide range of housing opportunities – from emergency shelter and transitional housing to affordable rentals and a unique homeownership program – plus effective programs to support a family’s progress.

Tickets start at $20 for upper level seats, and $27 for lower level seats. The first 300 orders will receive an exclusive flat bill snapback Silvertips hat.

All promotional tickets will be available in the Silvertips Administrative Office during their office hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and will be available up until the afternoon on game days. For fastest processing, ticket orders are strongly recommended to be completed at the Silvertips website, while groups of eight or more may complete their order in person at the Silvertips Administrative Office, or by calling (425) 252-5100.

For the home opener, the first 5,000 fans that come through the doors will get a magnetic schedule for the 2016-17 season, courtesy of Lamoureux Real Estate and Sound Transit. After the game, fans are invited to stay for the first Signature Saturdays, presented by Mountain Pacific Bank, are right after the game ends behind section 115 for autographs and photos with select Tips players:

Fans interested in dining options before or during the game may check out the Arena Grill in XFINITY Arena. The Arena Grill opens 90 minutes prior to game time, and is accessible to all fans and ticket holders. Making reservations is recommended, available by calling (425) 322-2726 to set up a reservation. For parties of six people or more, call (425) 626-0013 to reserve a table.

XFINITY Arena also provides a number of concession stands that will be open and available during the game, with options like pizza, burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and even coffee and muffins. XFINITY also has the Ice Box Lounge which is an in-house bar located on the east end of the main concourse area behind section 113. The bar is open to all guests 21 and over, so come and have a few drinks and hang out with fellow WHL fans.

The Silvertips will open the 2016-17 schedule with a “home-and-home” series against the Vancouver Giants, launching Friday, Sept. 23 (Classic Country 1520 KXA / WHL Live) in Langley, B.C. at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Silvertips home opener against the Giants, Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. (Shaw TV / Fox Sports 1380 / WHL Live) at XFINITY Arena.
