An Everett Police officer looks over the car.

A bus full of kids on their way back to school at Evergreen Middle got bumped in a scary crash on Madison street this morning.

All of the kids were okay and they got quite a story to tell to their first day back to school.

Around 7:15 this morning the bus was travelling on Madison when a car went out of control and struck a trailer parked along the side of the road.

The trailer then began spinning down the road and just bumped the back side of the bus before landing about a block away.

The car that hit the trailer flipped onto its side and the driver had to be rescued by Everett Firefighters before he could be transported to the hospital.

His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

Again all the kids on the bus were okay and a second bus was called in to take them on to Evergreen.

No word yet on what caused the driver of the car to lose control.
