Smoke coming out of the eaves.
Nice quick stop of a house fire in south Everett late this morning. About 11:45 AM, neighbors called 9-1-1 to report the house next door was on fire. A neighbor said she rang the bell and pounded on the door but it didn’t appear anyone was home.
Fire crews were able to get a quick knockdown of the fire and contained most of the damage to the upper floor. The house was located in the 9500 block of 18th Avenue West. At the time of this report an Everett Fire investigator was working to determine the cause and origin. There were no injuries and no damage estimate is yet available.
