HazMat Drill At Naval Station Everett Wednesday
The Haz-Mat rig from Everett Fire station 4 will likely get a work out Wednesday.
A simulated hazmat incident will take place at Naval Station Everett Wednesday. The Navy says it could involve non-toxic vapor clouds, flashing lights, emergency response vehicles, and first responders wearing protective gear.
Everett Fire crews will also be involved testing their mutual aid response to Naval Station Everett.
Access to the base could be impacted by gate closures and traffic delays. The drill is set to happen between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM.
