Everett

DUI emphasis

The DUI emphasis will run from 7pm – 3am.

Everett Police will be participating with other law enforcement agencies tonight in a major DUI Emphasis Patrol. The push will happen between 7:00 PM and 3:00 AM. The push is funded by the Snohomish County DUI and Target Zero Task Force. In all, representatives from Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and the police departments of Bothell, Mountlake Terrace, Lynwood, Everett, Edmonds, Mukilteo and Monroe will be doing high visibility patrols throughout the county. The Washington State Patrol Mobile Impaired Driving Unit (MIDU) will be on hand to quickly process DUI drivers. The MIDU is a self-contained 36 foot motorhome that has been retrofitted as a mobile DUI processing center and incident command post. When requested, the MIDU travels across the state in support of law enforcement efforts during DUI emphasis patrols. You can find out more about the Target Zero Task Force here.
