Motorcyclist Dies In Boeing Freeway Crash

August 12, 2016

Everett, Police Blotter

A motorcyclist died after hitting the back of a car eastbound on the Boeing Freeway in the middle of the Friday afternoon commute. Everett Police shut down Eastbound 526 between Evergreen Way and Broadway and diverted Eastbound traffic back up the ramp to Evergreen Way. It appears the motorcycle drove into the back of a black ford and the driver went over the top of the car and died at the scene. Traffic investigators from Everett Police are on the scene trying to determine the exact cause. There was also a second lookee-loo crash westbound 526 that slowed traffic in that direction. The original crash happened around 3:15 PM. Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos from the crash scene. Click photo to enlarge.
