It’s that time of year again when the Everett Public Schools Foundation puts on their annual Stuff the Bus event. Here’s everything you need to know…

This year’s goal is 1700 backpacks.

Please join us in supporting our 7th Annual Stuff The Bus for Kids backpack and school supply drive. All funds raised will help us reach our goal of delivering 1,700 backpacks to needy students for when school begins in the Fall.

 Donate money to help fill a backpack or set of backpacks, we will do the shopping! Average value of a filled backpack is $50.00.  Click Here to Make a Donation to help support our Stuff the Bus For Kids program.

 VOLUNTEER TO HELP STUFF THE BUS!!

 
Volunteers are needed to help accept donations at our bus site locations on Friday August 12th – Sunday, August 14th.  Friday, August 12th is Everett Public Schools Employee Volunteer Day!   Help is also needed to sort the donations and stuff the backpacks Monday – Thursday, August 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th at the Durham bus barn facility.  Please click on the link below to register for all of our volunteer opportunities.

  STUFF THE BUS LOCATION SITES!!

 

Visit our bus location sites listed below on Friday, August 12th throughSunday, August 14th from 9:00am to 5:00pm to donate supplies or make a cash donation. 

 

 Big yellow school buses will be located at:

 

1.  QFC at 2615 Broadway, Everett

2.  QFC at 4919 Evergreen Way, Everett- No bus at this location but volunteers will be onsite to collection donations.

3.  Fred Meyer at 12906 Bothell-Everett Hwy, Everett

4.  Staples at 4920 Evergreen Way, Everett (NEW LOCATION) 

 

Donations will also be accepted during business hours August 1st through August 14th at a variety of local businesses in our community.  Please visit www.epsfoundation.org for a location near you.

 For a list of school supplies needed by elementary and middle/high students, please visit www.epsfoundation.org

Please join our partners, Boeing, World Vision, Durham School Services, Fred Meyer, NW Plus Credit Union, Everett Association of Paraeducators, Molina Healthcare and Inspirus Credit Union in this effort to make sure that no child is without needed school supplies.

We have requests for 1,700  filled backpacks from our schools. Together, we will work to meet this goal so that our students have the tools they need to be successful! 

 
Delivery will be in time for the 2016-2017 school year.  Please contact your individual schools for distribution dates.
