Soccer Camp Builds Skills and Relationships

If you’ve got a few minutes during the next two days stop by the annual Soccer Camp going on at Walter E. Hall Park on Casino Road in south Everett. This annual effort was started by Everett Police officers and is supported by a host of community sponsors and volunteers. Again this year the soccer camp is full with 300 boys and girls. In addition to learning soccer skills the kids also learn good decision making skills in sessions taught by Everett Police and area school resource officers. The 4-day camp gives both cops and kids a chance to connect on a different level. Here are a couple of MyEverettNews.com photos from today’s session. Click photo to enlarge.
