The SUV driver is cooperating with police.
Everett Police traffic detectives are investigating after a young man stepped off a transit bus walked around the front and right into the side of a southbound SUV around 5:00 PM Sunday afternoon.
The man was taken by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV stayed on scene and is cooperating with police.
Evergreen Way is again open in both directions.
