This is one of our favorite events to watch as boys and girls from age 4 – 14 get a chance to catch a trout.
A special area is set up with fish fencing around the swimming area at Silver Lake Beach. It’s then stocked with trout.
The event is put on by volunteers from the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club in cooperation with the Everett Parks Department. It’s free to participate but they do ask that you pre-register.

There are staggered times between 7:30 am until 2:30 pm. If you have a pole and tackle bring it, if not there is tackle to borrow and lots of experienced people available to help your kids.
