Neighborhood Accident Kills 7-Year-Old Girl South of Everett

The Sheriff’s Collision Investigation Unit is conducting an investigation.

Sad news from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Saturday afternoon about a neighborhood accident where a child was killed.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal vehicle collision involving a juvenile pedestrian at the 10 block of 111th St SE. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with detectives.

The incident was reported around 5:50 p.m. when a witness to the collision called 911. Bystanders are reported to have performed CPR on the victim prior to aid arriving on-scene. The victim is believed to be a 7 year-old female. Positive identification of the victim, as well as cause and manner of death, will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.

The cause of the collision will be determined by CIU detectives through their investigation of the incident.
