For those who called us after seeing the fire rigs, it turned out to be okay. Saturday afternoon Everett Firefighters were called to Silver Lake in South Everett to a report of a canoe flipped and people possibly in trouble. The people in the canoe were able to swim to the safety of a dock. Firefighters from Everett, Rescue swimmers from District 7 and divers from Everett Police all responded but happily were not needed.
