Pedestrian Killed On Pecks Drive Identified

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the pedestrian killed after being hit by a car and Pecks and Evergreen Way last Thursday. Here’s the M.E.’s news release…

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the identification and examination of a 47-year old male who was involved in a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near Evergreen Way and Pecks Drive on April 19, 2016. The decedent’s is Christopher S. Shaw of Everett, WA. The cause of death is blunt force injuries of the head.  The manner of death is Accident.

Everett Police still continue their investigation of the accident. It was first reported as a hit and run but the driver did stop 6 blocks north of the crash scene and call 9-1-1.

The Snohomish County Prosecutor will make a final decision on whether or not to file charges against the driver.
