    • Jerry Says:

I am happy to have helped. I hope you have a fast full recovery. Take care of yourself.

  2. His girl friend Says:

He is doing OK alive and won’t be going home any time soon but he is still with me

  3. Jerry Says:

I didn’t see him get hit but I watch him hit the ground. I was the second guy that got over there to him and I was the person that called nine-one-one does anybody know if you lived or not I didn’t know you was on a bike I thought he was just walking across the street when he got hit

WOW! I’m not a religious person but may God forgive you!! So what your obvious ignorance is saying is that because a person isn’t as good and holy as yourself (perpetually pure) that they deserve to be in surgery-as we speak-fighting for his life? Swallow your judgmental words and have some sort of dignity for your fellow man. On second thought stay up on your perch as it will be to equally as entertaining to all that are below you to watch you fall.

Just because a person is homeless or addicted to drugs does not justify being hit by a speeding car. I saw the whole thing happen. You should be ashamed of yourself. Have some compassion.

Thank you Melissa! I just knew certain regulars were going to have to chime in. It must be nice to sit there from your armchair and judge others who aren’t as perfect as you are…then there’s the rest of us (like you and me) who had to look in the eyes of a man who was barely hanging on to his life last night. Nobody here knows if he was an addict and it doesn’t matter, because he’s still a person.

A bicycle 2 days ago in the same area came flying into the middle of the street and I nearly hit him!! I was doing nothing wrong!!! he could have been killed

  6. Eleanore Says:

Most of the bicycle riders in that area are street people and tweekers I know I live in the area and see it daily

  7. Sarah Says:

This happened right in front of my house. I came running out to see if I could be of help, not realizing how bad of shape the guy was in. He looked like someone who I have seen before around here, and yes people do ride their bikes irresponsibly, but people also drive way too fast and don’t always stop at the stop signs. Unless you saw what happened, you don’t know. I hope people practice some compassion when it comes to speculation about either persons’ character.

Same area young guy comes flying on his bmx bicycle through the intersection I almost hit him its no wonder he got hit
