$100,000.00 bail

Everett Police search the shooting suspect Friday afternoon.

A 41-year-old Everett man is being held on $100,000.00 bail in connection with a shooting at an Everett apartment Friday afternoon. A bail hearing was held Sunday. Today the shooting suspect failed to appear at his probable cause hearing due to an undisclosed medical condition. Judge Tam Bui re-set that hearing for tomorrow.

According to probable cause papers filed by Everett Police, the suspect in the shooting was confronted by the victim at an apartment in the 3500 Block of Broadway late Friday afternoon.

The victim told police he wanted the suspect to pay him for some slashed tires. The suspect reportedly fired more than one shot at the victim with one bullet going through the victim’s abdomen.

A detective wrote in the probable cause papers he saw two bullet holes in the wall near where the victim stated he was standing.

The suspect reportedly told police the victim was shot by a drug dealer who lived in the apartment by the hour.

The suspect is well known to Everett Police and at the time of his arrest had six outstanding warrants.

The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.

The Snohomish County Prosecutor has two days to file formal charges or release the suspect from custody.

The incident was the third report of gunfire in Everett, Washington in three days. There was this incident on Friday afternoon. A drive-by shooting reported at 2:00 AM Saturday morning near 37th and Hoyt and 2 shots fired into a car during a robbery attempt Sunday night in the 9500 block of Evergreen Way. None of the shootings appear to be related.

Who will the police use now for their informant?! This guy has been terrorizing the mentally ill and homeless for YEARS in Everett … and the reason he is out on the streets is because the EPD uses him as an informant to get information on other crimes and also to try to assist them in shutting down living facilities that they deem unacceptable. He finally did something outrageous enough where they had no choice but to arrest him. He has drawn weapons (knives) on people before and the police did nothing – took him down the street and let him go. Once again, they reap what they sow.

So do u have proof to this? Calling someone a snitch does dude have papers on him inform us … Is he on the Facebook snitch site .. just saying??

      • Kay Says:

Yes I do … it is public record. Once his name is made public – whenever there is a hearing, turn in a public records request to the city of Everett and see what you get back. The guy has been harassing people for YEARS – he is WELL KNOWN to police – yet they have looked the other way forever while he terrorized mentally ill people, took over their apartments, assaulted them. I personally know of a man who helped vulnerable adults and people in recovery by housing them – this guy pulled a large knife on the man I know, and the police did NOTHING. They would not even trespass the guy from the landlord’s own property!! It is common knowledge amongst many landlords in town that this guy is bad news, and that if shows up on your doorstep he is either trying to worm his way into someone’s apartment or get information for the police to try to shut down your building, through their ‘compliance’ officer. It will be interesting to follow this assault and see what happens. It will be hard to dismiss this one!!

All he’ll have to do is claim here needs help with a drug addiction and he’ll probably serve less time than if he was only arrested on the six outstanding warrants. You’ve got to love the Judaical system in this state

He is a good man and was just turning his life around when he decided to pull the trigger on an illegal handgun in an attempt to commit murder.

Let’s give him one more chance. LOL

With such low bail amounts its no wonder why criminals thrive in these parts. These liberal judges have got to go.
