A K-9 track was unsuccessful in locating the shooter.

No people hit but a car was struck twice in a robbery attempt in south Everett Sunday night.

Shortly after 9:00 PM a man was parking his car behind a restaurant at West Marilyn and Evergreen Way.

The man told Everett Police officers he was approached by a guy who demanded his wallet.

He ran away from the guy and as he was running he heard two shots.

The gunman took off on foot and when the victim circled back to his car he found two bullet holes in a rear door.

An Everett Police K-9 was called out but was unable to locate the shooter.

Patrol officers collected evidence at the scene and detectives will follow up on Monday.

The only description of the gunman was a white male in dark clothing.

Here are a couple of photos from the scene.

This guy is a drug dealer that almost got robbed. People don’t use guns to steal a random persons wallet. The police know better but can only work with the facts and evidence that they have. Dude hid the dope or got jacked for it before the cops showed up.

WAY too many shootings in Everett.

  3. Bourne Says:

Some people should take a long introspective look at why they vote for certain politicians and parties. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is insanity. These violent acts will just increase in intensity and frequency if things do not change.

As I walk from my car through the parking lot whether it be QFC, Safeway or Bartells I can see them coming…I just say to them “I have no money” thankfully I have never been shot before…the problem really is out of control the zombie/tweekers are everywhere!! and with guns!! yikes

Hopefully they find this idiot that’s all we need is another tweaker heroin addict being a loose cannon and hurting innocent people. Wish there was an easier solution but its gotten so far out of control here in Everett that all most do is say it’s not my problem and turn the other way. Now that there’s no where to turn it’s now everyone’s concern . God please help us solve these issues give us the strength to end drug s and homeless in Everett amen

More people need a CPL. This would solve the underlying problem quickly and permanently.

Yes yes yes . We need our responsible residents in downtown to pay the $50 and start carrying concealed . I Know I do , I also have a few in my neighborhood aside from myself that carry concealed and would recommend others find out this type of info about their own neighborhood .You may be surprised at who among you is armed 🙂
