Quick work by cooperating cops, in this case between Everett Police and the Mill Creek Police Department, led to the capture of three people suspected in a burglary of the pharmacy inside Walgreens at 132nd and the Bothell Everett Highway.

Just before 3:30 this morning an alarm company reported a person inside the pharmacy. Everett Police quickly responded and found the drive-thru window smashed.

A car was seen leaving the parking lot. One of the responding Everett Police officers followed the car which refused to pull over and went onto southbound I-5.

As the car reached speeds of 80 miles an hour Everett Police discontinued their pursuit and Mill Creek Police took over near 164th. The suspect car began smoking heavily and stopped at the I-5 to 405 interchange.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Mill Creek Police in detaining three people from the car.

They were turned over to Everett Police and the car impounded. Everett Police detectives are now interviewing the suspects.

In another cooperative event a wanted felon is behind bars.

Around 4:30 AM Everett Police acting on a tip from Snohomish began looking for a car driven by a man wanted for vehicular homicide.

An Everett police officer located the car around 5:00 AM near Evergreen Way and Highway 526 and took the man into custody for a felony warrant with $150,000.00 bail.
