  1. Kirk Says:

Will the Safeway gas station that used to be there be back too?

  2. A Says:

I’m sure the employees will still smoke right next to the door. Go out back where no customer can see you or smell it. I stopped shopper here when it was a Safeway because of the nasty smokers out front

  3. Diogenes Says:

I just hope they do something about the kids dribbling basketballs or soccerballs down the aisles. Tell the parents to keep the kids with them and the toys in the car, not in the store.

  4. Bourne Says:

Their cashiers like to talk. More scan, less talk.

  5. Donkey Hotay Says:

I’m surprised to find the self-checkout phenomenon has so many proponents. I think it’s dehumanizing to expect me to hunt down the products, scan them, bag them, and transport them for an even higher cost than when employees did all this for the customer. Added to this, I’m watched and searched by more than one useless employee as if I were planning grand theft calorie and I find shopping increasingly unpleasant.

Now robots, that I will welcome.

  6. Eleanore Says:

I have to agree, the self check out option is nice to have…

  7. PCP Says:

HOORAY!!! I have been waiting for eons!

  8. MB Says:

Hooray! I’ve been waiting patiently since it turned into a skeezy overpriced Haagen’s for it to come back to my favorite grocery!

  9. Anon Says:

If they still don’t have a self checkout then I ain’t shopping there. Their lines were always atrocious.
