Garage Fire 6100 Beverly Lane DA garage fire in central Everett was quickly brought under control by Everett Firefighters Wednesday night.

About 9:45 PM Everett Fire received a report of a garage fire in a duplex in the 6100 Block of Beverly Lane.

Flames were coming from the garage but crews from Engine 5 were able to get a quick knockdown and kept the fire from spreading into the rest of the living space.

The people living in the duplex did get out with their pets okay and said they were alerted by the fire alarm going off.

No word yet on the cause of the fire or a damage estimate.

Here are a few MyEverettNews.com photos from the scene.

You are the man Lee! How do you get such great pics?!?

Fire started from motorcycle engine and spread to contents of garage. If the city follows thru with their ideas to cut back on public safety, this could have been a loss of 2 families possessions. Tell the mayors office NO fire station closures!!
