Smokey Garage Fire On Oakes Friday Night

A very smokey garage fire was quickly contained by Everett Fire crews Friday night. It happened shortly after 9:00 PM in the 3400 block of Oakes. No cause or damage estimate yet but crews got it out before it could spread to any nearby structures. Here are a couple of MyEverettNews.com photos.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has identified the fatal fire victim at the Marnice Apartments on 75th street last week as 58-year-old Pavel Zhuk.
