Everett, Police Blotter

Sporty's

Multiple shots were fired outside.

An argument over a vehicle led to a parking lot fight that turned into shots fired at Sporty’s Beef and Brew early Valentine’s morning. Two men from Everett, a 29-year-old and his 25-year-old cousin are both being held in the Snohomish County Jail on $750,000.00 bail each under probable cause for 1st degree assault.

According to probable cause paperwork filed by Everett Police, the two cousins allegedly got into a physical fight with a patron in the parking lot. That quickly escalated as one of the two pulled out a gun and fired shots into the air. The person fighting with the two cousins ran toward the door of Sporty’s and his friend reported more shots fired.

The two cousins were located at a nearby house by Everett Police and were booked into the Snohomish County Jail early Sunday morning. Today Judge Anthony Howard found probable cause to hold both. The Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office has three days to file formal charges or release the pair from custody.
