Those who want to comment on monthly billing are invited to attend.

The Snohomish PUD Board of Commissioners has scheduled a special night meeting to address growing concerns by customers over monthly billing.

MyEverettNews.com has heard from dozens of people upset over their monthly bills being double, triple or more from one month to the next.

At its most recent meeting PUD commissioners were asked by KIRO TV personality and PUD customer Jessie Jones to hold a meeting at night so more people can attend.

That has been arranged and the meeting is set for 6:00 PM on Tuesday February 16th at the PUD Headquarters in Everett at 2320 California street.

The PUD has also produced a video about monthly billing and an entire webpage devoted to the issue.

  1. Zach Says:

What I really don’t understand here is where the confusion is. Electricity is a metered service. We know what each kilowatt-hour costs, we know how much we use based on the meter. The only reason bills would be higher is if they’re incorrectly reading the meter, or if they are incorrectly multiplying use by cost, which seems like utility 101. Be curious to see what the outcome is.
