Shots Fired Call Starts Off Everett’s Saturday

Editor’s Update Sunday Jan. 10th 6:55 AM: Everett Police patrol officers spent Saturday looking for the suspects involved in the shooting. The case is being turned over to detectives for follow-up. Police determined the woman who first claimed she was hit by a car did not in fact get hit but was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center for other issues.

A drive-by shooting started Everett’s Saturday morning today.

Police were called to the 1900 block of 17th street to reports of shots fired at 6 o’clock this morning.

Two vehicles were hit by gun shots and a woman was struck by a car.

Patrol officers were collecting evidence and working the scene.

Few details are available as it is early into the investigation but it appears no people were hit by the gunfire.

The woman hit by the car was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with non life–threatening injuries.
