Everett Police searched this room at the Far West Motel on December 18th, 2015.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a 3-month old female who died at Seattle Children’s Hospital on December 20, 2015. The decedent is Madilynn M. Schreib of Everett, WA. The cause of death is pneumonia, sepsis and meningitis with non-accidental trauma and history of the presence of methamphetamine. The manner of death is Homicide.

The baby’s mother and another man are being held in the Snohomish County Jail on $500,000.00 bond each in connection with this case.

Police spent more than a dozen hours at the shooting scene.

Homicide was also ruled in the case of a shooting at a house on Colby Avenue in Everett last month.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a 43-year old male who was involved in a shooting in the 4100 block of Colby Avenue in Everett on December 20, 2015. The decedent is Martin Guzman-Garrido, unknown hometown. The cause of death is gunshot wounds of the torso. The manner of death is Homicide.
