9:50 PM – Here is an initial report of the fire at 2 W. Casino Road.
The fire was reported shortly before 7:30 PM as a mattress on fire.
First engine saw smoke and flame from one unit. There were reports of people trapped on their balconies.
Crews called for a second and then third alarm.
What MyEverettNews.com knows at this time is there is one adult dead.
4 adults and 2 children have been hospitalized. At least 100 people have been affected.
