Some of the tossed teddys were almost as big as the players.

It didn’t take long as the Everett Silvertips scored the first goal of the night and Teddy Bears hit the ice at Xfinity Arena in Everett. The Teddy Bears will be collected by radio station Warm 106.9 and used by first-responders to comfort kids. The Silvertips say they’ve collected more than 8000 Teddy Bears. Unfortunately they did lose the hockey game 2 -1 to Vancouver. Here are a few photos from MyEverettNews.com.
