More Arrests In Shooting South of Everett

The shooting may be gang related.

Word in this morning from Shari Ireton at the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office of the arrests of two teens in a shooting early Saturday morning south of Everett. Here is the update…

Two 16 year-old males were arrested early this morning for the murder of 17 year-old Anthony Camacho Vergara. Another suspect, 19 year-old Diego Tavares, was arrested earlier this week for murder and is being held on $2 million bail.

The two suspects were taken into custody without incident.  Assistance in identifying and locating the suspects was provided by the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force and the Everett Police Department.

Vergara was shot early last Saturday morning at a residence in the 12300 block of 4th Pl W and died.

Both suspects are from Everett and were booked into the Denny Youth Center.

The incident remains under investigation.
