This weekend at Glacier Peak High School (7401 144th Pl SE, Snohomish, WA 98296) is your two-day chance to “eye guzzle” on cool nerdy feats of marvel.

If you want to see young students putting STEM skills into practice check out the Washington First Robotics competition Saturday and Sunday at Glacier Peak High School. The Everett School District is fielding 22 robotics teams. Here’s what you need to know if you’d like to check it out…

Twenty two elementary and middle school robotics teams from Everett Public Schools will put their robots and skills through paces at the First Lego League Robotics Regional Qualifying Tournament – along with teams from other school districts in the region.

At the event you will see the Core Value Challenge, a Robot Presentation, a Project Presentation, and the Robot Competition.

Students and coaches from all regional schools have been revising their code, aligning their goals and practicing their maneuvers to ensure their best moves and your most enthusiastic support.

Last weekend, View Ridge Elementary robotics students tied for fifth-place at a tournament in Ballard and are on their way to compete in FIRST regionals. This is an elementary school team which formed just a year ago and is already turning heads with its performance.

The best time to stop by and support our teams on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 12 and 13 is during the Robot Competition which begins at 12:45 both days.

However, if you want a full dose of both day’s events, check out the schedule below to time your arrival to catch your favorite parts.
