tree on tracks

No passenger trains from Everett until Thursday.

Yep another tree on tracks. That means it’s the bus from Everett to Seattle for train riders Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday evening a tree went down across the tracks just south of Edmonds causing Sounder to return one train to back to Seattle and bus service from downtown to Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett for the rest of the evening. Here’s the latest on alternate methods for those who normally take the train from Everett to Seattle.

Northline Sounder canceled due to a blocking event

Northline Sounder service is canceled tomorrow, 12/08/15 due to a blocking event that occurred this evening, 12/07/15. Sound Transit will continue to monitor the situation, if there are no additional events, service is expected to resume Thursday morning, 12/10/15.
