Major Crimes detectives from the Everett Police Department were on the scene early this morning outside the Everett Gospel Mission after a man reported being attacked.
Around 12:30 AM a man reportedly walked up to people gathered underneath the bridge in the 3700 block of Smith Street and told them he’d been shot. The man was bleeding.
He then continued south on Smith Street to 38th. An Everett Police Officer found the man and noted multiple injuries.
The man was treated by medics and transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. No word at this early time on his condition.
A K-9 from Lynnwood searched the area but was unable to locate a suspect. Patrol officers sealed off the area around the mission and detectives are investigating.
