No Coffee Allowed as Everett Police Chief Hosts “Coffee With A Cop” Monday Night

Coffee with a Cop

Sadly, coffee will actually not be allowed at the event due to its location in the library.

You’d think they would have changed the name since coffee is not allowed inside the Everett Public Library (except within the confines of the coffee shop).

This Monday evening from 6:30 – 7:30 Everett Police Chief Dan Templeman will be hosting “Coffee with a Cop”

It’s being called an open discussion without distractions and intended as a free-flowing exchange between citizens and Everett Police.

It’s set for this Monday night (9/21) at the main Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt in downtown Everett.

Here’s how it’s billed on the City of Everett calendar…

NO AGENDAS Talk in a relaxed, informal and open atmosphere about the issues you feel are important in our community.

NO DISTRACTIONS Radios and cell phones will be turned off during the event to create a stress-free environment to talk with police officers.

NO BARRIERS Open conversation between citizens and police officers is the best way to build trust and mutual goals the community.

**Due to the location, there will be no coffee at this event.**

If you can’t attend this session there is a second chance on Wednesday September 30th at the south Everett library branch. (Also no coffee allowed)
