15-year-old hit, shooter arrested.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says a 15-year-old is in stable condition at Harborview Hospital in Seattle after a drive-by shooting in south Everett last night. Here’s the latest from Shari Ireton at Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office…

An 18 year-old man is in custody on suspicion of a drive-by shooting that injured a 15 year-old male last night. The shooting was reported to have occurred around 10:30 p.m. north of 112th St SW on 4th Ave W. The victim was located at the 12600 block of 8th Ave W by patrol and transported to Harborview Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He was last reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect was apprehended by patrol around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Center Rd and Admiralty Way and booked into the Snohomish County jail on 1st degree assault and drive-by shooting charges. Deputies recovered a rifle from the suspect’s vehicle, which had both driver’s side windows broken out.

The incident remains under investigation.
