Man On Tracks Hit By Amtrak Cascades Train in Everett

A man was taken by medic unit to Harborview Hospital after being hit by an Amtrak Cascades train in the Delta Yard in Everett. The incident happened just before 10:00AM. No word yet on why he was on the train tracks in a protected area. Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson tells MyEverettNews.com the man had life threatening injuries. Everett Police spokesman Sgt. Ryan Dalberg says Everett Police are investigating along with Amtrak and other officials. It happened on the tracks directly underneath Interstate 5 next to the Snohomish River.
